Lushus Brown

As a member of Injoy Presents, Lushus Brown (born Elaina Brown) continues to bring her brand of funky vocal house and electro to dance floors throughout the US. After turning professional in 2001, she quickly found herself spinning at some of Houston's premier venues, including Bambu Lounge, The Social, Seven Lounge, Belvedere, and M Bar. In 2003, she was named the Critic's Choice for Best Lounge DJ in Houston. In both 2004 and 2005, she received nominations in the same category for the Houston Press Music Awards. In 2007, Lushus relocated to the New England area, where she DJ's both locally and nationally. Never one to compromise her style, Lushus Brown's DJ sets have a warm, upbeat feel that has won her strong praise from the likes of DJ Aphrodite and DJ Hardware.
